The Stormwater Division is responsible for the maintenance and operation of public drainage infrastructure which includes detention ponds, storm inlets, culverts and channels. This includes routine maintenance such as mowing, trash / debris pick-up and restoration and rehabilitation of failing drainage facilities.
The Town of Parker is within the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District boundary and benefits from additional maintenance, operations and capital projects funded by property taxes. The District provides annual maintenance of regional stormwater facilities throughout the Town as well as design and construction of capital projects. For additional information on the District and their services, please visit the Mile High Flood District website.
Approximately 25 percent of the Town's drainage infrastructure is inspected by stormwater staff every year. These inspections are necessary to ensure proper operation and to identify any deficiencies. To submit a maintenance request or to report a problem with drainage infrastructure, please call 303.840.9546 or contact us via email.
Parker contracts with Colorado Mosquito Control (CMC) to provide mosquito control service for all Town-maintained areas. To report a mosquito problem, please contact CMC at 877.276.4306.
