Responsibilities

The Student Advisory Board is an elected committee of Teen Court members who meet every six weeks (or more as necessary) to make decisions regarding Teen Court policies and practices, program matters, fundraising projects, outings and training opportunities. Once elected, SAB members serve for one year, with re-election eligibility renewed each year. Those elected must remain in good standing throughout the year in order to maintain their position. Good standing is defined as maintaining a consistent attendance record at Teen Court events and hearings, arriving on time to meetings, contributing to the goals of the SAB, and representing Parker Teen Court in a positive and professional manner. Members who have completed General Legal Training and are in 9th grade or above are eligible to run for a position. Elections are held in May.
