Description of your business: Opal Hue, the Body Co., Inc. has been in Parker since 2010. We are a small independent continually-growing company. The company specializes in natural hair and skin care that addresses the needs of those who endure needlessly with dry, dull and lifeless hair and/or skin. Opal Hue originated in Texas in 2004 and relocated here to Parker based upon the climate being perfect for product expansion.

We design and formulate products that hydrate, moisturize and rejuvenate all hair and skin. Our natural formulations are original and unique to Opal Hue the Body Company. Our proprietary blends are manufactured in Parker and Loveland, Colorado according to our specifications exclusively for Opal Hue, the Body Co., Inc.

We use natural components in all of our products to make them 98 to 100 percent pure.

We refuse to use petroleum, mineral oil, silicon, drying alcohol, fillers, parabens, sulfates, harsh preservatives or chemicals in our products. Using these components may be more cost effective, however it defeats our objective to provide natural, effective, affordable skincare. We believe that personal care products should be affordable for everyone, because healthful alternatives should be readily available to anyone who has a need.

Our products are formulated to hydrate, moisturize and rejuvenate dry hair and skin by addressing that common condition so anyone with hair or skin can use our products. The science behind Opal Hue is simple: we should not put anything on or in our bodies we cannot eat or pronounce.

We consistently strive to make pertinent, new products available that are natural, effective and affordable to compete with the ever-changing trends in the cosmetic industry. Our customer base reaches all over the world thanks to our military affiliation.

What is your most popular product/service? All of our products are superior in performance and consistency, however if I have to choose only one I would say with customers, our Water Lily facial care line is very popular. Our Honey Love hair care line runs a close second.

What do you enjoy about being part of the Parker community? Parker is a quaint, charming alternative to the big hustle and bustle city atmosphere. It is a small town with a big city feel.
