The Parker Days Festival, a longstanding Town tradition, celebrates it’s 37th year of creative community entertainment and excitement June 13 through 15 in Old Town Parker.
The event features three stages of musical entertainment, including the Main Stage, which will host, among others, Phat Daddy, Boogie Machine, Tunisia and Kristy Lee Cook. Cook was a finalist in the seventh season of American Idol. The Pikes Peak Stage at the north corner of Pikes Peak and Mainstreet will include a full lineup of performers sponsored by Parker Arts ranging from blues to acoustic music and more. The Community Stage will feature over 100 young artists from around the Parker area and will be situated at the east end of Mainstreet.
Local athletes will truly test their limits in an awesome display of physical prowess during the Strongman Competition. If thrills are more your thing, then enjoy the newly enhanced carnival areas brimming with all your favorite rides and treats, plus new attractions. A special sneak peek evening of fun kicks the carnival off on Thursday, June 12. Those looking for a little small-town flavor are sure to love the Parker Days Parade on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Hungry for more? Be sure to stop by the Food and Beverage area where old-fashioned soda pop, ice cold beer or delicious fruit smoothies will wet your whistle. Philly cheesesteaks, island noodles and berry kabobs will satisfy your appetite, and funnel cakes, cotton candy and brightly colored snow cones are sure to delight your sweet tooth.
