A healthy, vibrant downtown area is an important characteristic of a strong community. We need your help in keeping downtown Parker a place we all can be proud of, a place we are all proud to call "My Mainstreet."Have you noticed the four downtown vacant lots along Mainstreet pictured in green on the map above? P3 (Partnering for Parker's Progress; formerly the Parker Authority for Reinvestment) and the Town of Parker own these four parcels of land. We are partnering with the community on a new project named My Mainstreet, which aims to build community involvement and cooperation to ensure that our downtown remains Parker’s premier place to gather, dine, shop and play. The goal of this project is for P3 and the Town of Parker to bring residents, business owners and developers together to create cohesive and high-quality, desired additions to the downtown area and to explore what is feasible for the private market to deliver.Over the next few months, we’ll be offering a variety of ways for you to engage in this process. We want to hear your feedback and opinions about the following:
At the end of the My Mainstreet initiative, we hope to provide guidelines that will be used as a framework for development of downtown sites in a way that works for our community.Learn more about this project and share your opinions at www.LetsTalkParker.org/My-Mainstreet.
