[ARCHIVED] PACE Renaissance Guild forming

The Renaissance cultural movement was a time of artistic rebirth, scientific discovery and intellectual vigor. Be part of the excitement of the creative spark you’ll find at the Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center by joining the PACE Renaissance Guild. Interested parties are encouraged to attend the first official meeting of the PACE Renaissance Guild on Wednesday, July 13, at 5:30 p.m. at the Parker Mainstreet Center (19650 E. Mainstreet).

The PACE Renaissance Guild is an important part of the volunteer effort at the PACE Center, a new arts center opening in Parker this October. The Guild will support activities at the PACE Center such as fundraising events, artist hospitality and a speaker’s bureau. Volunteer opportunities to promote and support PACE are available based on member’s interests. Members will be treated to behind-the-scenes access to performers, events and performances and will serve as ambassadors at PACE events and throughout the community.

The Guild is currently accepting members at the following levels: $75 Annual Member or $300 Charter Member, a membership level that includes permanent recognition as a Charter Member of the PACE Renaissance Guild. The Charter Membership is only available until Oct. 1, 2011. The Guild’s leadership structure includes a president, vice president and secretary.

Promote, support and celebrate the creative spark with others who share your love of the arts. To learn how you can become a member or get more information, attend the July 13 meeting or contact Michael Schlut at or 303.805.3367.
