[ARCHIVED] PACE and Bonfils Blood Center partner for blood donations

The Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center and Bonfils Blood Center have partnered to host community blood drives at the PACE Center in downtown Parker. The first two donation dates are Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Ages 18 and older, or 16 and 17 with parental consent, are encouraged to donate blood and give life. Schedule an appointment at or 303.363.2300.

“The community centered and quality driven policies of Bonfils Blood Center closely align with the PACE Center’s commitment to supporting the community,” said Jeannene Bragg, PACE Center Cultural Director. “We are pleased to provide a convenient location and beautiful venue for this very important service.”

Bonfils Blood Center needs thousands of people to donate blood each week to meet the needs of Colorado’s patients and to maintain a state of blood supply readiness to support any unforeseen events. Currently four percent of Colorado’s population generously donates blood, but the need for blood is constant. Each whole blood donation takes about an hour.

For nearly 70 years, Bonfils Blood Center has successfully managed the community blood supply and played an integral role in Colorado’s healthcare system. Bonfils Blood Center supplies blood to nearly 200 healthcare facilities to support patients in our community and beyond. For information about Bonfils Blood Center please call 303.366.2000 or visit

Located in historic downtown Parker, the PACE Center is home to a 536-seat theater, 250-seat amphitheater, art gallery, event room, dance studio, culinary kitchen and several classrooms. PACE provides a wide variety of local, regional, national and international cultural, arts, scientific and educational programming to the region and serves as a rental venue for community, business and social events.
