Parker Writers Group hosts Marjorie Meyerle - Mar. 14
Parker Writers Group Hosts Franktown author Marjorie Meyerle presenting: “Literary Fiction and Self-Publishing”. Everyone is welcome on Sunday, March 14, 2010, 2 p.m., at the Parker Library in Meeting Room A. This event is free with no registration required. Ms. Meyerle co-authored Douglas County, Colorado: A Photographic Journey. Her novel, Bread of Shame was published last October.

Parker Writers Group is open to anyone interested in writing. The Group typically meets the second Sunday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., although some dates vary. Questions about PWG should be directed to .

Kidz Kulture - Mar. 20
Join the Parker Cultural Commission, Parker Library and the Parker Artists Guild the third Saturday of each month for an adventure through the exciting world of art and culture! The theme for 2010 is "Animals and their Habitat. Each Kidz Kulture presentation will consist of a live performance, plus hands-on art projects brought to you by the Parker Artists Guild. Sam Cogburn Concert - Classical Guitar - Mar. 26
Sam Cogburn is a classic guitarist who will dazzle you with a program that includes music from the 18th century to the new millenium and features music from composers such as Bach, Fernando Sor, Alex Stein and others.

In March of 2009, he won first prize in the senior guitar division for the American String Teachers Association National Solo Competition.
