Trot For Our Troops - Sep. 26
Join us for the first annual Trot 4 Our Troops 5K Run/ Walk in Parker, Colorado! The run will be hosted by Youth for Parker as well as Homes for Our Troops. Come support our troops by running or walking on September 26 at Salisbury Park. Proceeds will be divided evenly amongst Homes for Our Troops and Youth for Parker.

Prescription Drug Take-Back Day - Sep. 25
The Parker Police Department will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction at the Parker Police Department, 19600 E. Parker Square Dr., on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of a nationwide “Take-Back” campaign. The service is free and anonymous.The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and other government, community, public health and law enforcement partners are part of a nationwide prescription drug “Take-Back” initiative that seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft. On Sept. 25 these groups will partner for the first ever nationwide prescription drug take-back, operating collection sites around the nation where Americans can turn in their unused, unneeded, expired prescription medications.
