Can personal recreational equipment be used at for classes and activities at Rueter-Hess Reservoir?

Personal recreational equipment is not currently allowed at Rueter-Hess Reservoir. The primary purpose of Rueter-Hess is the storage of drinking water. In order to promote safety and keep from introducing invasive species to the water, we have partnered with a professional paddleboard rental company. The Rueter-Hess Recreation Authority, which includes representation from Parker, Castle Rock, Castle Pines and Lone Tree, will continue to explore options to allow for personal paddleboard, kayak or canoe use in the future.
