  2. Parker CROP Hunger Walk

    September 13, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ McCabe Meadows Trailhead

    The Parker CROP Hunger Walk is a 3.3-mile walk along the Cherry Creek Trail featuring activities aimed at raising awareness of global poverty. Funds collected through walker sponsorships and the silent auction support the Parker Task Force and Church World Services. Registration and silent auction are from 8 to 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m. There will be a band and kids activities.

  3. Lessons & Lemonade and Teen Art Studio

    September 13, 9:30 AM @ Hobby Lobby

    Lessons & Lemonade and Teen Art Studio is a program featuring free monthly art classes for children in grades 4 through 9. Parker Artists Guild members who are masters of their mediums and who love teaching children each take a month to teach at Parker Hobby Lobby’s classroom at Mainstreet and Parker Road (southwest corner.) Lessons & Lemonade classes for grades 4 through 6 meet the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Teen Art Studio classes for grades 7 through 9 meet from 1 to 3 p.m. Advance registration is required.

  10. Old Town Wine Walk

    September 26, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Old Town Parker

    Enjoy wine tasting and discover the many shops and restaurants in Old Town Parker on the fourth Friday of each month this May through October. This event, sponsored by the Parker Chamber of Commerce, runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Advanced tickets are available for purchase for $15.

    Joy Lutheran Church of Parker is partnering with 9Health Fair to offer Parker and surrounding communities many free and six low-cost health screenings and education services that address some of today's critical health issues for the whole family. Screenings include heart disease, diabetes, colon cancer, cervical cancer, prostate cancer and more. Family 9Health Fairs also offer low-cost flu shots, wellness activities, health resource centers and much more to truly make it a family affair!
