2030 Population:

• Parker – 71,438
• Parker Urban Service Area – 80,733

• Includes existing Stonegate, Salisbury Estates and parts of Cottonwood currently not in the Town

Two (2) alternative growth scenarios have been developed based on recent office, industrial, and retail commercial absorption in the Parker market area.

Scenario 1 – Forecasted growth rates based on Douglas County employment rates for Regional Statistical Area:

• 2005 – 15,729 jobs (1.11 jobs per household)
• 2030 – 38,799 jobs (1.54 jobs per household)
• Jobs per year – 923

The second scenario forecasts slower growth and 210 fewer jobs added each year compared to the Douglas County-based forecast.

Scenario 2 – Forecasted growth rates based on land absorption in the Parker market area:

• 2005 – 15,729 jobs (1.11 jobs per household)
• 2030 – 33,554 jobs (1.33 jobs per household)
• Jobs per year – 713
