The Town of Parker offers a variety of recycling opportunities for our residents. Upcoming events are listed below:
Parker Offers Free Phone Book Recycling
The Town of Parker is pleased to once again be offering FREE phone book recycling to the Parker community. From Thursday, Feb. 28 through Friday, March 29, residents may drop off their outdated phone books at the Parker Town Hall, located at 20120 E. Mainstreet. A dumpster marked “phone book recycling” will be located in the east parking lot of this facility for your recycling convenience.
This is just one of the free or reduced cost recycling events the Town of Parker provides to our residents each year. Check our Web site at www.parkeronline.org/recycling for additional recycling opportunities throughout the year.

Electronics Recycling (ecycling) and Documents-Shredding Event
The Douglas County-wide ecycling and document shredding event on July 24 was a huge success! About 35,500 pounds of paper was shredded, filling three trucks. In addition, 120,000 pounds of electronics were collected.
Also, $3300.00 was donated to the Parker Task Force, as well as non-perishable items.
Shredding of personal documents and electronics recycling at this event was made possible thanks to sponsors Shred-It™ and TechnoRescue™.
Check back for information on future ecycling and shredding events.
