Cultural Commission
The
mission of the Parker Cultural Commission is to foster, implement,
and participate in providing opportunities for cultural experiences
for the community of Parker.
Commission board
members are expected to attend one meeting per month,
assist with ongoing arts events and programs, and help the Commission
raise funds for its activities.
Regular meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at
6:30 p.m. at the Parker
Mainstreet Center, 19650 E. Mainstreet.
Cultural
Commission terms are two years long and expire in December. Occasionally
positions come open at other times of the year due to resignations
from the Commission. Those individuals who have an interest in
arts and cultural activities in the Parker area and enjoy hands-on
involvement are encouraged to apply to become a part of the Parker
Cultural Commission.
Applicants
are selected from the community at large and do not need to reside
in incorporated Parker. If you would like more information about
