Tina Long Joins the Parker Town Council

Tina Long was elected to Council in November 2006 and will serve on Council until November 2010. Long has lived in Parker for the past 14 years. She has been a small business owner for 13 years and currently owns and operates the Parker Day Spa. Long’s focus on Council will be to provide venues for youth to keep them out of trouble. She would also like to focus on keeping small businesses alive and well in Parker and enhancing the downtown area.

Long brings with her the experience of being an Air Force Reservist (Vet), registered medical assistant, master massage therapist and certified laser tech. She has also been a greeter at the Church at Parker for seven years, a member of the Downtown Development Council, Chamber of Commerce member and a Chamber leads group member.

Long is a single mom to Tony, 21, and Kenny, 19, and a dog named Scooter.
