The project is an extensive overhaul of the existing Mainstreet and will include installing all new storm sewer, curb and gutter along Mainstreet in the downtown area; removing the median just east of Pikes Peak Drive on Mainstreet; constructing new “bulb outs” on the sidewalks for additional congregating areas and installing benches; and constructing intersection speed tables in the downtown area. Please beware that the construction will cause periodic closures.
Construction updates will be posted on this page as the construction progresses. This project is expected to last approximately six months. Click here for alternate routes around Parker.
Businesses in the downtown area will remain open during the construction.
