2008 Let Freedom Sing
4th of July Celebration

6 p.m.: Take 2, playing all your favorites!
8 p.m.: Rocky Mountain Brassworks. Enjoy rousing Sousa Marches and patriotic arrangements.
Activities:
6 p.m.: The fun begins at 6 p.m. and includes: a face painter, balloon artist, tattoo artist, games, bounce house, backyard slide and a Team Depot activity from Home Depot.
6:40 p.m.: Colorado National Guard Flyover Provided by Buckley Air Force Base
9 p.m.: Fireworks display
Food/Drink: Papa John’s Pizza, Brother’s BBQ, Dippin Dots, Archie’s Dog House, Kettle Korn, Pucker Place and Pepsi products. NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED AT THE EVENT.
Event Description:
Bring the family and join your neighbors at Let Freedom Sing 2008, a celebration of our country’s independence presented by the Town. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and prepare to enjoy plenty of family fun including a bounce house, backyard slide, face painters, balloon artist, kids’ games and a cash cube full of coupons from your favorite stores and restaurants.
Let Freedom Sing 2008 will be conveniently located next to Town Hall 20120 E. Mainstreet in Parker. Many Parker residents can walk to the show, but general parking and handicap parking will be available at the lot west of Town Hall. Admission is free, parking is $5.
Enjoy live musical entertainment starting at 6 p.m. when Take 2 plays all your favorite pop and rock hits, and at 8 p.m. when Rocky Mountain Brassworks’ performs rousing Sousa marches and patriotic tunes. The excitement will grow as the evening is concluded with the long-awaited fireworks display, commemorating the land of the free with a bang!
Event-goers are welcome to bring a picnic, but concessions will be provided including pizza, burgers, BBQ, kettle corn, ice cream and other snacks. No alcohol will be sold or permitted at the event.
Pine Drive will be closed from Mainstreet to Summerset starting at 8:45 p.m. for the public’s protection from the fireworks display shot from the Pine Drive Curve. For more information, call 303.841.0353.
