Small Business Economic Development Assistance Policy
In November 2006, the Parker Town Council adopted a small business economic development assistance policy, effective Jan. 1, 2007. This policy creates a program to provide incentives for the retention or expansion of small businesses and/or encourage the establishment of new targeted businesses within the Town that would not qualify for other Town incentive programs.
This program provides incentives to businesses that offer primary, quality employment opportunities that contribute to the daytime economy of the Town; retail establishments currently underrepresented in the Town; businesses that directly support and enhance Parker’s traditional Mainstreet; cultural facilities; family oriented recreational and entertainment facilities and post high school educational facilities.
Interested businesses should click here to find out about the application process to be a part of this program. The approval of any request for assistance is at the discretion of the Town Administrator and subject to budget allocations appropriated by the Town Council.
