Barker Days

Make your plans for the month ahead with our list of five things to know for September.

Celebrate the Dog Days of Summer at Barker Days:
Parker Parks and Recreation presents Barker Days 2019 with Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at H2O’Brien Pool. Dogs can take a dip in the pool (closed to humans for the season and neutralized to be dog-friendly), chase balls and Frisbees on the ball field, check out the agility course and rub noses with dog-related service providers and vendors.

Pre-registration for Barker Days, which closes Sept. 6 at 5 p.m., is $6 per Parker-resident dog and $8 for non-residents; their humans are free. Walk-up registration will begin at 11 a.m. on event day and will be accepted based on capacity. Walk-up cost is $8 per resident dog and $10 per non-resident dog. Register online and learn more about the event on the Barker Days website.
