New projects added to Let’s Talk Parker:
A pair of projects were recently added to the Town’s community engagement website, Let’s Talk Parker. The new projects include the O’Brien Park Playground Renovation and the use of E-Bikes in Parker. A quick registration will allow you to take surveys and share ideas for these projects and others on the site.

Parker Christmas Carriage Parade Dec. 14:
A cherished Parker holiday event returns Saturday, Dec. 14 when the Parker Christmas Carriage Parade presented by Xfinity makes its way down Mainstreet. Presented by the Town of Parker and the Colorado Driving Society, this unique parade begins at noon and features horse-drawn carriages, wagons, surreys and stagecoaches from across Colorado.
And check out the new North Pole Pass, available for pre-purchase only, which will provide children ages 2 to 10 a unique and memorable parade day experience, including story time with Santa and an autographed book from the big man in red; magic with one of Santa’s elves; milk and cookies; crafts; a petting zoo; and skating on the Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park.

Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park open for season:
After opening Thanksgiving weekend, the Parker Ice Trail at Discovery Park has assumed regular hours for the new season.
The Ice Trail is open 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. Admission and rental costs, as well as information about group rates and 4-Visit passes, can be found on the Ice Trail website.
One of the only ice trails in the country, the Parker skating path meanders through the park, reminiscent of a frozen river or canal. Skaters and visitors can stay warm next to one of the three fire pits adjacent to the Ice Trail, or enjoy hot chocolate while watching skaters pass by. Concessions, skate rental and restroom facilities are available for all patrons visiting Discovery Park.

Parker’s Engineering and Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining more than 500 lane miles of road in Town through the snowy season and beyond.

Monthly public meetings:
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet. The Council will hold a study session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 in the Pikes Peak Community Room at Town Hall.
The Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.
