Winter Preview 2019

Make your plans for the month ahead with our list of five things to know for January.

2020 Town Calendar and 2019 Annual Report available:
Parker residents received a copy of the 2020 Town Calendar and 2019 Annual Report in their mailboxes in December.

The publication includes a five-page summary of 2019 achievements, as well as a complete 2020 calendar listing meetings and Town-sponsored and community events. All photos used in the calendar came from local photographers.

If you did not receive a Calendar and Annual Report, or would like an extra one, you may pick up a copy at the Town Hall front desk, located at 20120 E. Mainstreet in Parker. A digital version is also available on the Town website.

New year, new budget:
The turning of the calendar means the implementation of a new annual budget. The annual budget — aligned to the Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 fiscal year — is developed to ensure that all services to our citizens, businesses and visitors are maintained, while preserving the Town's long-term financial health. Budget documents, financial reports and related supplemental information can be accessed on the Finance Department’s website.

“Matilda, The Musical” brings magic to the PACE Center:
Roald Dahl's “Matilda, The Musical” will show at the PACE Center Jan. 17 to Feb. 9.

Presented by Parker Arts and Sasquatch Productions, this Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers, takes a stand. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda is a joyous girl power romp. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.

Tickets can be purchased on the Parker Arts website or at the PACE Center Box Office.
