As we move into December and the holiday shopping season, the Town of Parker would like to provide you with a roundup of marketing and support opportunities available to your businesses.
Douglas County Restaurant and Indoor Event Venue Impact Grant Program: Restaurant and indoor event venue owners in Douglas County who have experienced impacts due to recent public health orders are encouraged to apply for a share of $15 million allocated to provide relief. Applications are open through Dec. 30 and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to qualifying businesses, based on the order in which the applications were received. #ShopParker Campaign: Over the coming weeks, Town will be reminding residents of the importance of shopping locally and will support Parker businesses across our social media accounts (@TownofParkerCO). You, too, can join the campaign by downloading and incorporating the Shop Parker logo in your marketing materials and/or sharing posts from the Town’s social channels. If you have any problems downloading the logo or need additional information, please email us.
#ShopParker - Gift Week: From Dec. 7 to 11, the Town of Parker will host a special Shop Parker: Gift Week campaign on our Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/TownofParkerCO. On each day of Gift Week (at 9 a.m.), we will recognize a different gift category and allow applicable Parker businesses to comment to advertise gift ideas and/or seasonal specials or services, along with your contact information/website. The daily themes are outlined below. We ask that each business only comment on the day most-related to their service and only comment once on a post.
- Dec. 7: Treats, Eats & Drinks (restaurants, bakeries, breweries)
- Dec. 8: Clothes, Beauty & Fashion
- Dec. 9: Home Decor, Home Goods & Home Maintenance
- Dec. 10: Health & Wellness
- Dec. 11: Other Goods & Services - If your business offerings haven't fit in one of the earlier days, promote a gift idea or holiday season special your business provides on this day
Made in Parker Campaign: Is your business Made in Parker? If you own a unique business or create products right here in Parker, we encourage you to apply to take part in the Made in Parker campaign. The goal of this program is to build awareness of our diverse Parker business community by recognizing local businesses and products made by our residents on Town social media accounts and on the Made in Parker Blog. To take part, complete an application here.
