We know you’re ready to get out and enjoy this summer to the fullest. Use this guide to make the most of this season in the Town of Parker.

Make A Splash: The newly renovated H2O’Brien Pool is the place to swim and slide with two 182' water slides, a zero depth entry with a large, state of the art water feature structure, a lap pool, a concession area and a sizeable deck space with seating, ample shade and a game area. Daily swim hours at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Season and daily admission passes are available.

During the summer months, the Discovery Park Play Fountain is a fun spot for all ages. The approximately 900 square foot water feature includes programmable water jets embedded below the paved surface and color-changing LED lights, allowing use during the day or on a warm evening. The Discovery Park Play Fountain hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with the exception of special events.

And don’t forget the year-round indoor pool at the Parker Recreation Center. The facility includes a lap pool with shallow end, activity pool with zero-depth entry, lazy river, water slide, aquatic climbing wall, play structure and a therapy pool.

Go to Camp: Enroll in one of the many summer camps hosted by Parker Arts or Parker Parks and Recreation.

Enjoy the Sounds of Summer: The free Discovery Park Summer Concert Series will bring bands to the Discovery Park amphitheater on Thursdays in August. Feel free to bring your picnic baskets, lawn chairs and beach blankets to enjoy the open green space and free live music organized by Parker Arts. Check out Parker Arts’ shows and events calendar for more details about these concerts and other planned performances.


Get Out and Play: Spend time outside at one of the many public parks or 30-plus miles of trails maintained by Parker Parks and Recreation.


Keep Active: Parker Parks and Recreation’s catalog of adult sports, youth sports, fitness classes, and programs offer something for everyone looking to break a sweat or take part in some friendly competition.


Visit the Market: The Parker Farmers Market lines Mainstreet from 8 to 1 p.m. on Sundays May through October. There you’ll find home-grown produce, fresh-baked treats and other items for sale from more than 100 vendors. Need to know where to park your car or lock your bike while visiting?
