Celebrate Independence Day during Fireworks on the Fourth:
With live music, walk-around entertainment and, of course, a fantastic fireworks display, Fireworks on the Fourth Presented by Xfinity will be the center of Independence Day celebration in Parker!
Event seating will be located in three zones across Salisbury Park, each accessed with a pre-purchased parking pass and featuring different perks and arrangements. This format was designed to give every member of our community the chance to attend the event at their comfort level and select their preferred experience.
Parking passes are now on sale on the event webpage and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last until 5 p.m. Friday, July 2.

Please note, this zone format will only be in place for our 2021 Fourth of July event. The Town looks forward to hosting the Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration in a more traditional format in 2022!
Cool off at H2O’Brien Pool:
Swim, splash and take a break from the heat at H2O'Brien Pool. H2O’Brien, which wrapped up a major renovation in 2020, will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week into August.
The pool features two 182' water slides, a zero depth entry with a large, state of the art water feature structure, a lap pool, a concession area, deck space with seating, ample shade and a game area.
New Art Encounters sculptures installed:
There’s a quartet of new sculptures to see in Downtown Parker thanks to the Douglas County Art Encounters Program.
• Epiphany at the corner of Mainstreet and Pine Drive
• Tatanka Ska at the O’Brien Park gazebo
• Spiral Dance Flourish at the corner of Mainstreet and Victorian Drive
• Face the Light at Mainstreet and S. Pikes Peak Drive
Art Encounters is a year-long outdoor sculpture exhibit that showcases a number of sculptures, in various media and styles, displayed in highly visible areas in Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Roxborough and Parker. These works will be on display through May 2022.

“Little Shop of Horrors” comes to PACE Center:
Live theater returns to the PACE Center with “Little Shop of Horrors” from June 25 to July 18.
Based on the film by Roger Corman, the sci-fi smash musical follows meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn as he stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn, as long as he keeps feeding it blood. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Monthly public meetings:
Please note, all public meetings are once again open for in-person attendance.
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays, July 12 and 19. The Council will hold a study session at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 26.
Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, July 8 and 22.
Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 15.
