Discovery Park Summer Concert Series returns:
The Discovery Park Summer Concert Series is back! This year’s series will include five shows at the Discovery Park amphitheater in August. Bring your picnic baskets, lawn chairs and beach blankets to enjoy the open green space and free live music organized by Parker Arts. Concerts will be held Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m., except for the Aug. 14 concert.
• Aug. 5: Neon Moon
• Aug. 12: The Radio Band
• Aug. 14: Animal Farm — special day (Saturday) and time (4 to 5 p.m.) for this kids' performance
• Aug. 19: Ninety Percent 90’s
• Aug. 26: My Blue Sky

Love Parker Campaign events planned:
There are so many reasons to #LoveParker and the Town of Parker and P3 – Partnering for Parker’s Progress want to hear yours! A pair of opportunities to take part in Love Parker Campaign activities, and earn some fun giveaways, are scheduled this month.
• Sunday, Aug. 15: Town booth at the Parker Farmers Market in front of The Schoolhouse (Town elected officials will also be present to chat and answer questions)
• Thursday, Aug. 19: Love Parker pop-up event at Discovery Park from 4 to 6 p.m., prior to the free summer concert
Fall program registration begins:
A new season of adventure and fun awaits with Parker Parks and Recreation and Parker Arts sports, programs, camps and activities.

Parker Arts 2021/22 season tickets on sale:
Tickets for Parker Arts’ 2021/2022 season go on sale in August. Whether you are into national touring acts, hilarious comedy, theater performances, live music, or just want to explore the arts, there’s an event, or several, perfect for you in the upcoming season’s lineup.
Scheduled performances include the Oak Ridge Boys, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Saturday Night Live Alumni, Michael Martin Murphey, Footloose: The Musical, and more from the Family Discovery Series, The Comedy Zone standup performances and Friday Night Jazz.
Community favorite holiday traditions like A Classic Parker Holiday, Sounds of the Season and The Nutcracker of Parker will also return to the PACE Center.

Monthly public meetings:
Please note, all public meetings are open for in-person attendance.
Parker Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Mondays, Aug. 2 and 16. The Council will hold study sessions at 5 p.m. on Mondays, Aug. 9 and 23.
Parker Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 12 and 26.
Parker Special Licensing Authority will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19.
