Keep up with Parker news and happenings with our list of five things to know for January.
2022 Town Calendar and 2021 Annual Report Available:
The latest Town Calendar and Annual Report is being mailed to Parker residents the last week of December.
The publication includes a five-page summary of 2021 activities, as well as a 2022 calendar listing public meetings and Town-organized and community events. All featured photos came from local photographers.
If you do not receive a calendar, or would like an extra one, copies will be available at Town Hall, 20120 E. Mainstreet, in January. A digital version is also available.
The Wizard of Oz to Take PACE Center Over the Rainbow:
Follow the yellow brick road to the PACE Center Jan. 21 through Feb. 13 for The Wizard of Oz!
This stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale features the iconic musical score from the MGM film.
Tickets may be purchased on the Parker Arts website or from the PACE Center Box Office at 303.805.6800.
Meet Your Fitness Resolutions with Parker Parks and Recreation:
If you made a fitness-related resolution for the new year, or want to continue your health and wellness journey, Parker Parks and Recreation has a facility, program, sport or class for you. Flip through a digital version of the latest Recreation Activity Brochure to see a catalog of upcoming offerings or visit the Parker Parks and Recreation website for additional information.
Take advantage of fitness and wellness specials Jan. 10 to 23, too. Discounted prices for personal training and pilates/yoga/stretch single sessions will be available to purchase from the Parker Recreation Center and Parker Filedhouse front desks. Additional personal training information is available online.
Find Volunteer Opportunities at Volunteer Parker:
Beginning in 2022, all of the Town of Parker's volunteer positions-including opportunities with the Town, Parker Arts and Parker Parks and Recreation will be listed through the new Volunteer Parker online portal at VolunteerParker.org.
This online local resource offers one-stop shopping for volunteers who want to share their time and skills in our community. Interested volunteers can search positions by interest, schedule or desired organization.
