The Town of Parker offers residents a variety of opportunities to get involved in local government and provide feedback on Town initiatives and operations. Here are just a few of the options currently available to residents who are looking for a way to get involved. 

Aug. 21 Parker Farmers Market 

Stop by the Town’s Let’s Talk Parker booth at the Parker Farmers Market on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a fun and informal conversation! Connect with Town Councilmembers and staff to ask questions, voice concerns or just meet some of the people who help keep Parker a great place to live, work and play. Among the highlights of our August booth will be the Town's Human Resources Department, which will offer information about some of the current job opportunities that are open within our organization. 

Parker Youth Commission 

Applications are being accepted now for Parker teens who want to shape the direction of the Town's brand-new Youth Commission. This opportunity is a great way for local students to participate in the governmental process and represent and articulate the needs of our community’s youth. The commission will be comprised of nine teens in grades 9 through 12 with strong ties to Parker (attend school, work, etc.). Teens who are interested in government and volunteering are encouraged to apply. For more information, click here. 

Let's Talk Parker Online Tool 

Have you taken some time to check out the Let's Talk Parker interactive online tool? This great resource offers residents an easy option for getting involved and providing feedback on Town projects and initiatives at a time that fits with their own personal schedule. 

Active projects awaiting your input include the Pine Lane Subarea Plan that will serve as a guide for future commercial development within the north central portion of the Town. The latest updates for the My Mainstreet Project concerning future possible development in the downtown area are also expected to be added during the month of August.
